The Moose Jaw Regional Economic Development Authority Inc.
The Province of Saskatchewan introduced regional Economic Development Authorities, or REDAs, for communities interested in facilitating regional economic development. The Moose Jaw REDA Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to business attraction and retention in the Moose Jaw area. MJREDA is part of a greater network of federal, provincial and municipal organizations that are committed to the economic betterment of their respective region in Saskatchewan.

The Moose Jaw REDA Inc. was incorporated on March 28, 1996. Municipalities, business and community organizations have developed and maintained a strategy for area communities to work regionally to address the economic development needs of the region.

The Moose Jaw REDA receives funding from the Province of Saskatchewan and its members, including the City of Moose Jaw. The MJREDA, in partnership with the City of Moose Jaw, provides staff to work with the Moose Jaw REDA members to pursue their development objectives. The Moose Jaw REDA is available to work with existing and potential businesses considering ventures in the Moose Jaw Region.

Moose Jaw REDA Mission Statement: "It is the mission of the Moose Jaw Regional Economic Development Authority to facilitate economic growth and prosperity in the region."


The South Central Enterprise Region maintains detailed information on the south central Saskatchewan region and works with the regions business community to:

  • Retain and expand business in the area;
  • Attract new business to the communities in the area;
  • Create an environment conducive for business operations;
  • Form partnerships with key community organizations to promote and develop the region.
